After your business is licensed, we will inspect your stock every one to three years.
Inspectors look for regulated or invasive pests and diseases and provide a report of general pests, diseases, and invasive species found during the inspection. Inspectors can provide additional information on management of pests and cultural problems, when requested.
Our primary goals are to manage and monitor pests and diseases of nursery stock and Christmas trees, and to ensure that healthy nursery stock and Christmas trees is being sold. Inspectors can also help determine if any Compliance Agreements are needed, depending on how your business operates.
